Third Day of Internet “Enhancement” Work?

We are our 3rd day of internet outage. Does anyone know how long the “enhancement” outages last? I work from home and I can’t keep using PTO every time they shut the internet down.  Today I’m using a cell phone hotspot to try and get me through the day, though I have no idea what that will cost me on my cell phone bill. They should not be stating work will be compete in a day if they are not sure that will be the case. Does anyone know if xfinity will offer refunds for all these days without internet?

It could take several days if things don't go the way they planned it. And yes, they do give billing credits for outages, but they won't even begin until the outages are cleared. And you have to ask for them.

Hi, @user_e08ddb! Thanks for reaching out and for your patience with us as we work to get services restored. I work from home too, so I understand the inconvenience this can cause you. I see that it has been over 2 days since we last spoke with you. How are the services working for you today?

I still do not have internet today. Internet was OK yesterday, so today is day 4 with no internet.

Oh, no! @user_e08ddb,This is definitely not the experience that we like to hear about. I will certainly do everything within my power to assist. Are you familiar with our Digital Status Center? When you go to https://www.xfinity.com/support/status and sign in? Does it say that you are still in an interruption?  This is a great way to monitor your service and request a credit. You simply scroll down to where it says "Tell us more about your experience in the Outage" Tips section at the bottom of the page. A form launches to determine eligibility for the credit. You will then provide details about your experience during the outage.

I am about to enter my second day of network enhancements. This means a second day of me not being able to work. I am curious as to why Xfinity is performing this work during peak impact hours preventing many people from working. This work does not appear to be the urgent repairs a Customer Service Agent referenced to me yesterday when I called.

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 5-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
