These “network updates” every few days are unnecessary
About a week or so ago, I started getting messages from Xfinity about “network updates “ being done to enhance the services even though they’re literally fine. And they have been for quite some time. They claimed they would be finished in a day or so. It’s now nearly a week later and they’re still working on it. Some of us work from home or have online classes. Because of these “updates”, I can’t get my school work done. Every few minutes the service goes out and it disrupts my assignments. Stop doing this during the week when people have to work to make a living and/or students. Why do you keep doing these network updates when clearly nothing needs to be done? A lot of us pay an insane amount of money just to have internet. A lot of people will be switching services so respectfully, get it together or you’re going to lose business. I can’t even get a hold of a customer service representative either.

Hey @user_hi2a3q I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Network updates can include ongoing construction to strengthen and modernize the Xfinity network—replacing equipment (amps, nodes) to improve reliability, prepare for DOCSIS 4.0, and enable faster upload/download speeds. Are you still experiencing disconnects while it is showing not under an interruption?
