Terrible Lag/Latency

Hello,

I've been having a recurring problem with lag and latency on my internet connection. My speed is not the issue (subscribed to gigabit) but the actual latency is causing me major headaches for my vpn connection for work and while gaming with my friends (major spikes, rubber banding, etc).

A tech has already visited and has "forwarded my issues up" since there was nothing he could do at my house, but I have no idea whether or not the issue will be fixed or when.

Below are some of the typical results from ping plotter. It seems that the 2 connections immediatlely after my modem are part of the issue.
