Terrible intermittent Network jitters, bad tracert report to Gaming Servers

Need help with my problem with ping/packet loss in my Games (particularly Valorant)

Some game's I will have stable constant 20-30 ping, then half way thru it will spike from 30-200 randomly and there is nothing using up my bandwidth while im playing. I have a wired Connection with 1.2gb speed plan

is there a problem with my routing here?

Tracing route to 192.207.0.1 over a maximum of 30 hops

jmize96 Thanks for posting on our community forums. Is the issue only present on Valorant? Or has it happened with other games? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? Did you try rebooting your modem manually or through the Xfinity App?

it happens in other games, just not as noticeable, unlike valorant where its a tactical shooter where low latency is a must. I have rebooted modem manually and through the app. Also got a replacement Modem incase ours was faulty. It can happen when no one else is using the internet in the house. I have switched out the ethernet cords aswell (using Cat5e) which should be enough. i dont know if its a routing to servers issue or not, i have also tried port forwarding to valorant servers and nothing has changed. It can happen at random times during a match, even apps like discord are also lagging and having connection issues loading streams etc.

My friends also have Xfinity and they live less than a mile away from me and have no packet loss issues/massive ping spikes during gaming sessions.
