System reboot
After waiting weeks to bid on-line in an auction, I was awake and ready when it began at 4.00 a.m. (10.00 a.m. UK time). At lot 16 the system was rebooted and I lost internet and phone access until lot 24. I was interested in lots 20-22 and so missed out! Does Xfinity reboot the system at a set time? I need to know as there is another auction in a month that starts at the same time.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us regarding your internet connection and modem reboot. I am so sorry to hear that you missed out on the lot that you were going for in that auction and I would hate to see it happen again. It sounds like you actually had a temporary loss of connection and the modem needed to reboot. We do send through firmware updates to the modem, However, this is not something that you would usually notice with a loss of connection. We do recommend a manual reboot of your modem at least one time per month for optimal performance. This can be done through our app or website. This link will give you more details on accessing that information. https://comca.st/3yhVli0.

The same thing happened the previous week with another auction. Fortunately the system was up and running by the time my lot came up - however I passed on it saving my pennies for the later auction! Thanks for the responses.
