SVG2482AC and 1200 Mbps plan

The modem has max download speed of 850Mbps according to Comcast device compatibility lists.  I am not looking for max download to match the plan speed, for now.  I expect I may get 600-850Mbps download speed.  Can I use the modem with 1200Mbps plan with any problem?

No, the modem needs to be compatible with the plan that you are paying for. If not, the modem will default to a much lower speed regardless of its capability.
