SURFboard SBG6400

Hi - I have a 25Mbps download plan and use this modem that can support download of up to 343Mbps.

My Airbnb guests say the download speed he has experienced is between 4 - 14Mbps.  Is this a Comcast or my Surfboard's limitation that is causing the download speed to be below the 25Mbps that I subscribe to?  Will changing to a new modem cause the speed to be up to the 26Mbps that I have?

Thx

Could be either. Could be your guest’s equipment and what they’re trying to do. It’s UP to 25, doesn’t necessarily mean 25.

Is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, for a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the 6400 with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?
