Sugar Land TX Outages EVERY day for 3+ hours

We are at the end of our rope.  After years of stable service, we are experiencing area outages every day for at least 3 hours.  Usually during the work day, which is significantly impacting my wife's ability to deliver on assignments since she works from home.

We are unable to get any actual updates, warnings of the outages, or any prediction on if/when these will continue.  I've been happy with my Xfinity service historically, but I can't continue like this.

Is there anyone on here who can provide insight into what's happening, if there are plans to fix it soon, etc?

Good morning @Catchau82

Good morning I completely understand how important a reliable connection is, especially when it's needed for work, school, and staying connected. We appreciate your patience as crews work to restore service. Please keep in mind that restoration times are estimates and may change if additional issues are discovered during repairs.

You can access the status center and our response center here:

For the latest updates, the Xfinity Status Center is the best resource. Once service is restored, you can also request a credit for the interruption through the Service Center. In the meantime, we'd be happy to review your account and ensure outage notifications are enabled so you receive the latest updates.

If you would like us to review the account with you,

Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click "Direct Message"

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

As you are typing, a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it. See the link below for an example

I tried direct messaging as instructed, and was just told to activate my texts and that "we are not privy to local information.". No resolution date could be given, not any information on when I can expect future outages

This is unhelpful and quite disappointing.  This isn't a single outage -- it's been more than 10 outages on several subsequent days.  We have been long time customers, but we cannot continue with this level of instability, and no communication.  It's very disrespectful.

I understand how frustrating it is to be met with interruptions to your service as frequently as you've described Catchau82, and appreciate your patience with us. As we outlined in our messages, our local teams are aware of the issue impacting service in the area, which is why they have maintenance scheduled for this coming Friday to correct those interruptions for good. We're working to get this corrected for you as soon as possible, and will connect with you again once that maintenance has completed 👍
