Sudden WiFi changes in Kittredge/Evergreen CO

calling Kittredge Xfinity residents… About a month ago our xifinity WiFi has gone completely wayward. There was a flood that I suspect damaged something in the network or grid in our neighborhood here in Kittredge CO but I am not an Xfinity technician (although now I feel like a part-timer). I play video games like rocket league and Apex, and notice major lag spikes and disconnections from servers due to WiFi connection loss to the extent that games are unplayable. Prior to these issues (about a month ago), everything was seamless and I would get consistent ping and perfect gaming sessions every day. Mind that I have been playing demanding games for about a decade in my house and have never had issues until now. I have called over 7 technician visits to our house and they cannot and will not fix the problem. They have suggested moving the modem to create a direct connection or drilling holes in our house, which is an apparent desperation attempt. I can connect to my hotspot and get far superior connection that my in-home connection. In my mind, we shouldn’t be charged for a single payment for the last 3 months of absolute neglect and unsatisfactory WiFi performance.

I wanted to raise this forum in case any other people in the community have experienced this so Xfinity can muster the accountability to prioritize and fix the issue instead of putting it on the back-burner after more failed attempts. It’s shocking that throughout all of this, Xfinity will still charge us fully without batting an eye or recognizing that we are not getting the services we pay for. Overall, it’s been extremely aggravating and I’m hoping it’s not only our home so we can straighten this out.
