Streaming and Buffering Problems

I usually play video games on my PC and stream myself playing on twitch for people to watch. I have had the same service with Xfinity for over a year with no issues until this past week. Consistently when I stream now the stream will disconnect every few minutes. Not only that, but I can’t even watch people on twitch without their streams buffering for me and the quality going down, something that has never happened in the past year. My computer is connected directly with an Ethernet cord to the modem through the wall so there shouldn’t be any issues.

In addition I also watch Hulu Live TV utilizing my Roku with wifi. It’s to the point where every 10ish minutes the shows will buffer and eventually I will get the message from Hulu stating to check my internet connection. This has only happened this past week same as the twitch issues.

I have run multiple speed test that show I have great connection. There are no outages in my area. I have tried restarting my computer, clearing the cache, deleting cookies, freeing up storage, and restarting my modem through the app and by unplugging it from them wall. I have called Xfinity and they have checked my modem from their end finding no connection issues.

I NEED HELP! This is beyond frustrating and it’s to the point that I can’t enjoy watching tv in the bedroom with my Roku via wifi or even stream/watch live streams on my PC with an Ethernet connection.
