Storm Ready WiFi not working

My Wi-Fi is out and my storm ready says I have a strong signal but I go to my Wi-Fi list and it says No Internet Connection.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_eejvld. I would be happy to check on any issue with your services from here. Normally if there is a power outage or other interruption on your service, you don’t have to worry about reconnecting your devices as they will stay seamlessly online, automatically switching from broadband to cellular (4G LTE) connectivity.

Are you seeing a 4G LTE connection @user_eejvld? If you are not seeing that send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service. 

To send a direct message [private message]:

   Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

   Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

   The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

We just had a 48 hour internet outage (power ok!) and my storm ready did not work! I only had 2 bars of cellular (normal for this area), but I restarted my system to no avail. Very disappointed and frustrated after spending over $300 for this “system” I could occasionally get an internet website to work. But no streaming for TV. Had to listen to baseball on AM radio!! Thankfully our system is back up now… Any suggestions? No

way to talk to anyone during these outages is also very frustrating!!

I am having this exact issue. Current network outage, xfinity app says “storm ready wifi is keeping you online” but none of my devices can connect to the internet

I am sorry to hear that you haven't been able to get connected. Were you able to resolve this? Have you tried following the troubleshooting listed above?

I am having the same issue.  Power is out and Xfinity app says my storm ready wifi is on with strong signal, but none of my devices can connect to it.  I've completed all of the troubleshooting steps with no luck.  Very frustrating.
