Storm ready not working

I have had this a couple months and today was the first day I needed it and guess what, it did not work. No matter where I place it, it always says fair to no signal.  If power is down or Internet out, it always says trouble with it. How do I make this do what I paid all this money for it to do?

Lenny1956 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. Can you tell me if you have the device between 5-30 feet away from the modem and if it is in an elevated position near a window?

Lenny1956 For troubleshooting purposes are you able to move it to a window that is closer to the modem?
