still can not get a direct answer to my problem,

bout 2 wks ago i upgraded my plan to the 1300mbs down load and so far i have not seen it. nor it is not better then what i had with my old plan of 800mbs down. i made sure that i will have the full use of the new higher speeds by buying new cat 8 cables and a 10Gb Base-T PCI-e Network Card, Intel X540-T1 Controller, NICGIGA 10Gbps Ethernet with newest drivers as well. so far i have had 2 techs here trying to figure out why i dont get the newer speeds like i use to every time i got a speed upgrade. so far this time i do not see it. they have replaced the line from the pole to my house. and i got the newest xfinity modem/router

Technicolor CGM4981COM| Model number:CGM4981COM.

they have tested what the speed is coming into the modem which is 1533mbs down load which is a 118% over the 1300mbs upgrade. so my main question is this why doesn't the speed that is coming into the modem is not seen coming into my pc? is the modem throttling my speed down to the same that i had before the upgrade? if you need the spec to my pc i can give them cause i am the who built it. i been doing this since 2003, i even customize it as well and im on win 10 por 64bit os and have all ssd

Greetings jps69olds, thanks for reaching out to our XFINITY Community Forum. As an avid Internet user myself, I know it is very important to have your devices working with the highest speeds you are paying for, especially after upgrading your plan. Please try to power off your device, then turn it back on. Afterwards, connect your modem hardwired to your device and run the speed test here at XFINITY Speed test. Let me know what results you receive after completing this step.
