Starting hour 16 of no internet service

Large number of customers in Charlottesville, Va, area have been without internet since midnight, over 15 hours ago. I’m sorry that Comcast/Xfinity needs to work on Jan. 1 to resolve this, but that is part of being a utility service provider. There appears to be no urgency whatsoever to resolve this problem, despite today being one of the most important sports viewing days of the year. Where are the crews that should be assigned to fix this?
