Spotty Internet (security verify)

On android and Windows computers, Washington Post and nearly all other sites won't get verified by the Wi-Fi so my Internet is basically off for more than a week. CNN and Wikipedia load up but not much more. My macbook air gets all the internet so it's insane what the problem is. Gotta be something Xfinity did and is doing

user_jjt9x9 Thanks for reaching out about your verify issue with websites. I would be happy to help in any way I can.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

My solution is that I went and bought an apple mac mini pro m4 so I can actually do my job. There is no actual solution. My android phones and windows computers connect but can't access most websites. (BTW the xfinity modem suddenly stopped working yesterday -- wouldn't broadcast SSID, wouldn't connect at all -- and after a fruitless hour with tech support I gave up). I woke up this morning and decided to do a factory reset which got me back to my situation as I've described. Apple products and TVs (amazon, roku) work but not android phones, not windows computers. The story is over. Nothing I can do or to be done. Hopefully xfinity or each and every website fixes the problem. Now I have to get back to work.

Still struggling with this awfulness. Some days the android phones connect to everything. Some days they only connect to cnn and wikipedia. Windows computers never get washingtonpost or anything, though they do get cnn and wikipedia. Sometimes the TV gets netflix and/or amazon but usually not. TV always gets max and disney+. The modem stopped broadcasting its SSID again, and this time the factory reset is no help. It's just useless. Perfect signal to my house, xfinity says. OK, well why can none of my devices connect? We can't see the SSID. Months of this!!!
