Sporadic IP release and renew is this the problem or a symptom of why I am having outages.
I've been having momentary outages with my internet . Xfinity customer service had me swap out my modem / router, and I am still having these outages. When looking at the event logs on my TG4482A I see a pattern of release and renew for a DHCP address, even though the lease is set to 10hrs. I don't know if this is the cause or a symptom of the problem. The following is just one example and I have this happening many a few times every hour but not precisely at the same interval.
