Splitting my X1 Wifi to allow 2.4 and 5.0 connections
I have a home device that can only connect to a 2.4 connection. I went into the Xfinity app under the primary user id and change the setting to spit the network, named the 2.4 network and saved. When i go back into my account the next day none of the changes are saved.

Hello user_cp8ew3 , What type of device is it that is only connecting to the 2.4 connection? One thing you can try if you have devices that only connect to the 2.4 GHz band, temporarily disable the 5 GHz band by accessing the Admin Tool at http://10.0.0.1, navigating to Wi-Fi settings, and disabling the 5 GHz option. After connecting your device, re-enable the 5 GHz band. Let me know if that helps at all.
