Splitting Broadbands (2.4/5)

I've been trying to reach out to Xfinity about helping me change my Wifi from 5 to 2.4 because I have cameras that do not work on the 5 but there is no customer service, the chats are AI generated and the online options on the account are there BUT are completely useless as they don't save any changes made to the account.

Is there anything else I can do or should I cancel the service?

stephl1 Hi there! Glad you reached out for assistance with making changes to your WiFi Channel. I am happy to help as this is not the experience we want for you, you are in the best hands. Have you tried following the steps listed on our self-help page https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-wifi-channel-xfinity-xfi ?

that information does not load and wont help the page that does not let me save changes made to it on my account anyway.

That's more of a technical issue with the site.

stephl1 There are not currently any reported issues with the site or Xfinity app and I am able to make changes to my home network using the Xfinity app. Since you mentioned the it did not load for you: Sign in to the Xfinity app with your Xfinity ID and password.
Select WiFi (from the bottom navigation on the Xfinity app).
Select WiFi details.
Select Edit settings.
Split bands (not recommended) is the option on the bottom and can be toggled on and off for customer with our Xfi internet options. If you do not have these options or are required to use the Xfinity assistant are you by chance a NOW internet customer?
