Speeds

Why can't this multimillion dollar company just get it together? Seems like every time i have an issues I'm told to speak with the most ineffective customer services agents. I've been paying for 2gig internet speeds for 5 months now and i cant even get over 1gb speeds on anything. And to add fuel to the flame they throttle speeds at the most random times. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Horrible customer service, horrible speeds.

Hi there and welcome to Comcast. I am sorry to hear that you have been not getting the speeds you are paying for. @user_0mfpbl, you are in the right place and we are happy to take a look at your services.

Please also note that sending unsolicited peer to peer direct messages to myself or any other user is a direct violation of our forum guidelines. You must first create a Public post requesting assistance, and once a Comcast verified employee responds and asks for a direct message to be sent, you can then proceed with doing so. This is just a heads up for future reference, but I look forward to further assisting you here.

@XfinityRoberto

Firstly, thanks for taking the time to reach out and responding to my post. I'm hitting a wall with this company and trying to resolve my issues. I've tried two different stores in my area to no avail. Store reps only recommend calling Customer service, Customer services tries to keep you talking to the AI chat bot (which is horrible I must add) and the customer service agents just want to send techs to my home and charge me for an issue that I shouldn't have to foot the bill for. And now I have to jump through even more hoops on a online forum to get some help. Now i see why this company has so many negative reviews.

Now i ask of you how is it that you will be helping me? I think i laid out the issues pretty clearly in the original post. There is no issues with hardware, connected via ethernet or wifi doesn't seem to make a difference. My speeds wont pass 700mbps uploads or downloads and I'm spending 3x what the competitors in my area charge for the same speed I'm actually receiving.

Thank you.
