Speeds aren’t what I’m paying for.
I have a netgear modem and router and paid for 1GB aka 1000mbps on xfinity internet and we tested speed and it is only 270mbps for download speeds. This is terrible and a rip off if there is nothing we can do to fix it without having to pay 100 dollars per visit from technicians multiple times.

Lucky you. Just like you , I have been paying for 1000mbps and I keep testing at around 50mbps. I have been paying for this
speed for years and apparently have only been getting a small fraction of it. I call, they say get an updated router. Went to Xfinity,
got an 8 (the newest) and I'm still testing at 50mbps. Anyone getting what they pay for???
