Speed upgrade corrupted new modem and destroyed a good WiFi network
Has anyone had an issue where an unnecessary speed bump destroyed an entire WiFi network and now has corrupted a supposedly brand new modem? I have a BBB case going on in the middle of this because they caused this.
Their random dinking around for no reason where I only had good internet for a month. The supposedly helpful speed bump is the direct opposite and now my modem won’t connect.
All day today no internet and nothing helps. I thought I’d see if this has happened to anyone else as the new modem the tech just installed in June and they messed stuff up a month later with a ridiculous speed upgrade that made it slow again.
Now, my modem is a nightmare, can’t connect and I had to get a new credit card because the speed upgrade ruined my new service. Nightmare to say the least.

@JokerPenn711 If you would like our team to look into any service issues we will need to have you send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
