SOS ( Pls Someone Help Me )
Dear Xfinity,
My name is Vin, and I have been a customer of your 1.2TB Xfinity internet plan since January 2023. Unfortunately, since I began using your service, I have been unable to enjoy playing online games or streaming due to constant latency and ping spikes.
Despite having had eight technicians visit my home, most of them have been unable to resolve the issue. One technician informed me that the problem could only be addressed once escalated to their supervisor, who promised to upgrade the node by November 2023. However, it is now February 2024, and no improvements have been made.
I find myself at a dead end, as Xfinity is the only service provider available in my neighborhood. Despite paying the full price for your service each month, I am unable to utilize it effectively.
I am reaching out sincerely in the hopes that someone from a higher level within Xfinity can assist me in contacting the appropriate channels to address and resolve this issue. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Vin

you are not alone, i was/am having the same issue with random packet loss/ping spike for about a month now. they told me it was on my end, bought a new modem, new router, swapped a laptop in place of pc, new cables. swapped everything on my end for testing, and I still get random spikes! it can be good for an hour, then 5 spikes within a minute. ive been running Packetstats.com test for hours, and there is no uniform to the spikes, its just random. makes online games unbearable. xfinity has been no help so far, wont acknowledge there is a problem, and told me if a tech has to come out, I will be charged. might be changing isp soon.
