Somebody tapped into my line!
Somebody tapped into my line. I called Comcast nobody will come out because the service is still working and the COVID-19. Ironically the neighbor beside me doesn’t even have Internet cable anymore and his line still connected directly into the 4 port HUB on the pole and now mine in on a splitter. We had no POEGB-1GCW installed we just use the net, no TV.
This was never like this before, I saw a ladder beside the pole and now I see my line connected to a splitter then the 4 port HUB.
Do you guys think this is normal with the wiring?

I think I’ve had over 12 visits in the past when first installed until two of the neighbors disconnected their Comcast service and then I started getting decent speed. We finally narrowed it down to the tap. They never came out and replace the tap, the tec switched my neighbor port around and put me on his then it started working a little more, I called it quits on the support calls. Not one supervisor stopped by and they left an Xfinity test modem and one of the tech guys came to pick it up with no test result I did ask to speak to a supervisor before I gave back the test modem so I knew what was going on with the test results. The supervisor over the phone told the tec to call the police like I was stealing something. Anyways, make a long story short they never replace the tap. We had 7 people on one 4 port tap and now it's 5 on one 4 port tap.
