Some devices will not connect to my Wifi
I'm having a problem with a few devices not connecting to my Wifi with the correct password. (TV and Frame) Both device connections worked before. In fact, this has been going on two modems ago. Anytime I tried connecting new devices to my Wifi network the connection would not work. (with correct password) I never looked into the problem before, as all my device connections worked. Until now.
I've worked around this on my TV using the WPS connection. But that is hit or miss, sometimes it works, other times it does not.
I visited the Xfinity store, the clerk hit a few buttons on his computer, and explained my devices will now connect to my Network using my password. Which it did not.
I've changed my WiFi network password. and continue to have the same problem. These two devices will not connect to my Network. I have reset the TV's network settings, turned on and off the modem. Nothing works. I really don't want to pay for a tech visit, for what I believe is an Xfinity problem

I'm having a similar issue. I split my bands out (2.4, 5, and 6ghz) and determined it's the devices that need 2.4ghz only. Some days things will connect but then after a few days I start losing 2.4ghz devices like cameras. Typically a restart of the modem will fix the issues for a day or two but not always. I'm going to swap out my modem tomorrow to see if it fixes the issue. There aren't many changes to the configuration you can make to their modems.
