Slower speeds after upgrading modem

I am getting slower speeds after upgrading to an Arris SB8200 modem coming from an Arris SB6183.  I was getting over 400Mbps down and 20Mbps up with the SB6183.  Now I am getting 350Mbps down and 12Mbps up with the SB8200. I am on the up to 900Mbps plan

Hi,
Those are almost exactly the numbers I get on my SB8200, but I'm on the 300Mbps plan.

I think maybe Comcast needs to double check what plan you're being provisioned for.

Hope this helps.

@zip21222 Thank you for the reply.  That was my thought as well.  Also seem to be having an issue with one modem(SB8200) showing on the Xfinity App on my phone and the other(SB6183) showing under my devices when looking on the computer.  Thanks again

@user_65156a I've seen stuff like this before.  I upgraded from a 4.5yo Arris to a Netgear CM2050V a few months ago and I had both of them showing up on the web site for a while.  I also got emails telling me I needed to upgrade my modem after switching to the 1200/35 plan after deploying the CM2050V.  You ought to be getting 900+ on a wired connection on the 900 plan.  If you're using WiFi try an ethernet cable and see how that does.  The modem upgrade also magically reverted my provisioned speed to the 150Mbps I had when I first signed up at my current address from the 600 I had before.  I was planning to upgrade to 1200/35 anyway, so I just did that and it's been running at that speed since.  Speed test still thinks I have 150, so I may have to get this sorted out at some point.
