Slow Wifi Speeds

Hi, I have the superfast plan, meaning I should get speeds of up to 800mbs, but I am barely getting 85mbs(and that is when I am right next to the router, or I am using a LAN cable). Can you help me understand what the problem is?

Good evening @user_xhfisj, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums with your connection issues. I see you stated you should get speeds up to 800Mbps but are barely getting 85Mpbs. To confirm is that while hardwired or over WiFi? May I also ask if you have tried rebooting your modem?

yes, i have tried rebooting it. And it is over both hardwired and over WiFi

@user_xhfisj  Thank you, have you made any recent changes to the location of your modem? Are you experiencing these speeds with all devices in your home?

no the speeds have always been this low and the modern is in the same place. This is persistent on all devices.
