Slow upload speeds after switching to Netgear CAX30

I recently started using my own Modem+Router (Netgear CAX30) and my upload speed tanked from 100 Mbps to 5Mbps.

I suspect it's exactly the same scenario as pointed out in this other thread at https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/slow-upload-speeds-after-replacing-modem/653b7e9a8dcccb444e09a902. Can Xfinity help with the correct provisioning of the Modem?

Hi there @user_e7ecgb. I am sorry to hear that you are not getting the correct upload speed on your own modem . I did look at the thread and it seems that there could be a couple of stuff happening with your modem. We would like to make sure that the modem is provisioned correctly first.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us: 
 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send your message
