Slow Upload Speed

With my Xfinity plan I am supposed to be getting around 300 mbps upload speed. For some reason I am only getting .5 mbps upload speed at the most. This is with an ethernet cable I am getting that bad of connection. When I connect to the router wirelessly my connection somehow improves slightly. It feels horrible to game on. Can someone please help?

Hello. I have restarted my modem multiple times. I also bought a new Ethernet cord to see if that would help. It helped the download speed, but the upload speed is still around 0.5 mbps. I'm not sure what else I should do to fix the upload speed. Thank you.
