user_cmlx0r Thank you for stopping in for help with your upload speed. Upload speeds are being increased in some areas, but we would not have 500Mbps available to you unless your area has been upgraded to our FDX network that provides symmetrical speeds. With a 500Mbps plan that would offer you 500Mbps upload and download. If the network in your area has yet to be upgraded, there will be a few stages. Our normal un-upgraded network provides a max upload of 35Mbps. Our Next Generation (Genesis) network would provide up to 300Mbps download if on the correct download speed plan. You can check our Broadband facts page to confirm if the increased upload speed is an option in your area. If it is, you would need to make sure you are using either one of our Xfi gateways, and if you are using a 3rd party modem, make sure it is shown on our approved device list for enhanced speeds.

If you are in an upgraded area with the increased upload speed showing as an option on the broadband facts page and using a modem rated to support the enhanced speed, let me know. I would be happy to look more into it for you.
