Slow LAN Speeds
I'm supposed to have somewhere around 200mbps download speeds.
Speed tests on the WiFi show correct speeds, anywhere between 190mbps and 210mbps. However, when I plug my laptop in to the modem, I'm getting speeds around 30mbps. Every once in a while I'll get 150-200mbps on the wired LAN, but it consistently sits around 30mbps. The modem I have is a Comcast provided device. My laptop Wireless NIC and Ethernet NIC are both gigabit (confirmed and tested on many different networks).\
Would I be better off getting my own modem? I hate to be paying for the bandwidth if the modem provided by Comcast isn't capable of handling the speeds.

I'm experiencing the same EXACT issue. but on my desktop PC. All my other devices get desired speeds but the device I use for work. Thus far support hasn't been helpful although I'm supposed to receive a call within the next couple of days. Considering switching to my own modem as this might be my issue
