slow internet & wi-fi

My internet service has been very slow for quite a while.  On my Orbi Router Speed test, it used to be: Download ~ 270+ Mbps & Upload ~ 8 Mbps.  I'm having troubles with apps such as YouTube Opening with a black screen, then 1/2 a picture with a spinning white circle!  Terrible!

Now my Orbi shows Download, 77 Mbps & Upload 8 Mbps

Other tests such as Ookla show Download, 130 Mbps & Upload 8 Mbps

For troubleshooting purposes, are you able to run a speed test on a laptop or computer directly connected to the modem using an ethernet cable? This may temporarily shut off wireless connections as the modem may need the router disconnected to perform this speed test.
