Slow internet unless I am connected via a VPN

I'm seeing really slow speeds and looking for some support. I just noticed recently my download speeds are anywhere between 10-90 Mbps. However when I'm on a VPN connection I get my full speed. Am I being throttled or is my network connection not being routed correctly?

I called the other day but haven't heard back. Planning on calling again this coming week but wanted to try other options as well. I have seen other post about this same issue but never see an answer.

Hello user_qkx2q9, thank you for reaching out in our Xfinity Community forums. Is this an ongoing, never changing issue? Or is it after a certain time period (later in the month, or billing cycle)?
