Slow internet - paying for 1GB down
I've had my new 1 Gigabit plan for a couple months now, and still only get about 330Mbit/sec when doing speed tests ever since switching to my 1 Gig plan. I have a gigabit router, a Netgear CM1100 docsis 3.1 modem (capable of up to 2Gbps), yet I'm still only showing about 320-380Mbit down. What's goin on?? I used to get upwards of 480-500Mbit when I had an older 250Mbit plan!

You won't be able to get gig speed with that modem as Comcast rates it for only up to 945 Mbps. Since it is not compatible with their gig speed tier, it will default to using an even slower configuration file, so you will get even slower speeds than before. I don't really understand why this is done..... A compatible device must be used.
Look here for compatible devices that they rate for a gig or more; https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/customerowned

I think that you missed the point. They can "give it to you" if you use a compatible modem.
