Sign in required

I've had X-Finity WiFi for more than a year with no issues. However out of no where, the internet has become so slow across all devices that we end up using mobile data. I troubleshooted it, I've unplugged the modem, but still no WiFi. When checking WiFi through phone, it says "sign in required" and that the device is paused. I've looked through the X-Finity app and used AI assistant, but still nothing.
