Should the Xfinity Gateway default Wifi password be changed?

I just installed an XB8 gateway, for X300 service.

It's in bridge mode, so that I'm using my Asus router with it.

But the XB8 is broadcasting its own wifi network.  The login and password are on the bottom of the device.

I see that I can change settings through the Xfinity app and the support agents can access it as well.

The name of the Wifi network appears randomized, because it incorporates part of the MAC address in the SSID name.  So is the enough security or do all these things have the same default password and someone can just guess the 4-characters in the MAC address used for the SSID name and gain access?
