Several Unresolved Internet Interruptions
I am writing to report ongoing and unresolved internet service issues that have persisted since I moved into my home nearly two months ago. This is not a one time outage or brief neighborhood issue. I have experienced repeated service interruptions despite contacting Xfinity multiple times.
Each time I reach out, I am instructed to perform basic troubleshooting such as unplugging and restarting the modem. Technicians have also visited my home and worked in the area, but each visit results in only a temporary fix before the problem returns. I receive outage notifications stating the issue is resolved, yet my internet remains unstable.
These service failures have directly affected my ability to work from home and complete schoolwork. I have had to unexpectedly go into the office due to unreliable internet, which is especially difficult during the winter and as a parent due to last minute childcare needs.
I was also told my modem was not activated despite technician visits and partial access to services. Regardless, the modem is not the main issue. The issue is the lack of consistent and reliable service.
Despite this, I am still being charged a full monthly bill and have received payment and late fee notices. I was offered only a one week credit, which does not reflect nearly two months of service disruptions. I also attempted to use an Xfinity hotspot as advised, but that did not work.
I am requesting escalation, appropriate account credits, and a permanent resolution.
