Setting up wired Eero pods with Xfinity modem
Hi - I have an Xfinity modem currently in bridge mode. I'd like to set up 3 Eero pods in my house that I'd like to hardwire to the back of my Xfinity modem, but I recognize only one port can work at a time in bridge mode. How would you advise I design my network to hardwire these Eero pods while continuing to disable router features on my XB7 modem?

You have to use one of them as the main router. You need to hardwire that to one of the ports on the Xfinity gateway that is in bridge. Now you can use the remaining eero pods set up as a WiFi mesh system. Although I'm not certain, if desired, you may be able to backhaul hardwire via ethernet cables back to the main eero router that is connected to the Xfinity gateway, or to each other (Daisey chain them). YMMV. More research on your part is needed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck !

Hey there, @user_9z48bv. I see our expert provided some great advise that I would reiterate. The Eero pods are a mesh network set up and only the one of those pods needs to be connected and will be able to broadcast to the other pods and still hold a good connection with limited variables. As EG mentioned, YMMV with signal strength and how you have it set up but if you're looking for all of those devices to be connected via ethernet you would have to daisy chain off the main pod connected to the back of the modem while it's in bridge mode.
