Setting up NAS

I just set up my Xfinity X1 modem/router and the internet works great.  However, I can no longer access my WD Cloud drive that is connected directly to the modem/router with an ethernet cable exactly how I had it hooked up previously on my old modem/Router.  Do I need to setup the X1 device or something? Any help would be appreciated.

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature as a work-around for now and see. It's buggy ! And there is currently no way for an end-user to be able to whitelist anything;

To disable the Advanced Security feature in xFi, select the Account icon from the top-left corner of the Overview tab on the xFi app and then select xFi Advanced Security. From here, select Disable under xFi Advanced Security and follow the on-screen prompts.

I have same issue.  My Western Digital My Book World NAS is no longer detected when I try to map the drive now that I'm using the new Xfiniti routre.   I've got so many gigs of past pics/vids in there that I can no longer get to!  argh!      If I buy a cheap router, and plug Ethernet cable into it, maybe I may have a better chance of mapping the drives again? ?
