Set Up VLAN

This is a residential device.  I would like to put my smart thermostat, ring camera, and similar devices on a separate partition from my other devices.  I am not sure what other information you might need., 

I found the instructions below  on line but I don't see an option to seleft 2.4 and 5 GHz Wifi

Using the Xfinity App

1. Sign in to the Xfinity App with your Xfinity ID and password.
2. Select WiFi (from the bottom navigation on the Xfinity App).
3. Select View WiFi equipment.
4. Select Advanced settings.
5. Select 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi.
6. If you would like to select a specific WiFi channel, select Edit next to 2.4 or 5GHz.
   • A dialog window will appear.
7. Choose the channel number from the Channel drop-down.
   
   • To complete the change, select Apply Changes at the bottom of the dialog window.

   • Create VLANs and assign them VLAN IDs.

   • Assign specific ports on the switch to the created VLANs as either access ports (for devices that are in a single VLAN) or trunk ports (for carrying multiple VLANs).

5. Configure VLAN Tags:

   • Set up VLAN tagging (e.g., IEEE 802.1Q) for trunk ports if needed, to ensure VLAN traffic is correctly identified and managed.
