Service disruption in the evening and overnight

Over the last couple of weeks we have been having internet drop outs starting in the evening and worsening and continuing overnight.  Last night we had a long disruption around midnight and many more through the early hours.  I checked with the neighbors on each side of us and they are both experiencing the same kind of problems.  I called over the weekend and a tech got here on Monday (wow!), he moved our cable to another port from the junction box on the power pole.  At the time we weren't seeing any issues but he said he saw an irregular signal.  That night the same problem came back.  Also, last week we saw a Comcast truck in front of our house and the guy went up in a bucket to do something.  The tech who came by said he saw in the system that there was still work going on on the street.  However, in the middle of the outages when I used my phone to run a test multiple times, everything "looked good".  And, when the Ai assistant gives up, it gives you a number to call and when you call it, it says you have to go through the AI assistant.  A brilliant intern must have come up with that scheme...  If something is wrong and Comcast is working on it, then, not great, but ok if the communications are clear and meaningful.  But when the online tools throw you into never never land, the AT&T FIOS that was just put up on the poles starts to look better and better.  I have two disabled people at home and we need to get this cleared up ASAP.
