Service Constantly Going Down

We switched from Astound to XFinity recently for a cheaper rate for a higher speed but have had consistent issues with service going offline, which was a very rare occurrence with Astound.

At the very least it’s down every couple days for various amounts of time. Currently are going on 12 hours.

I’ve rebooted, checked connection, swapped out cables, nothing seems to work to keep a constant up time.

Any other thought?

First. When these outages occur, are they being officially indicated with any info about them here ?;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Or you can use their Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

Sorry, important detail there.
A few of them have been actual outage issues on the status page you shared.

Most of the time they seem to be our issue and a power cycle can fix. However a good chunk of them are power cycle doesn’t fix and so I let it be and eventually it comes back normally within an hour or so.

Today Gateway lights either flash yellow or green.

Ok so for the listed ones, you obviously have no choice but to wait them out and/or complain to them about it.

Let's take a look at the modem's signal status values. Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please copy all of the text in its entirety of the *Downstream Power Levels*, the *SNR's* (Signal to Noise Ratios), and the *Upstream Power Level* numbers and paste them into your next post.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem / gateway device ?
