I'm trying to get a second IP address to work with my SB8200 modem.
As most other posts, I'm creating this to get some help in possibly getting it done. 🙂

They are phasing it out but I'm going to escalate your issue to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. We've seen cases here where they have been able to get this accomplished for customers even when it is not listed in their rate cards, YMMV. You should get a reply here in your topic. Good luck !
It comes from Comcast, not Arris. When an employee responds here to the original poster, ask them to help you too.
I went back & forth a bit with Arris--same modem--8200. Has 2 ports but can only use one unless have second IP address. Arris says get it from Xfinity. Xfinity says NO--get it from Arris...stuck in the middle with one useless port
Just figured I'd give a little check-in to any Comcast employees out there that feel like helping. 🙂
Please have patience. We have been told by the powers that be that they are a bit shorthanded at this time.
I can try re-escalating this again if you don't get a response soon.
