SB8200 - Not getting upload speeds
So I just upgraded to the gigabit plan from comcast. I'm able to get about 900 down but only 41 up. I contacted comcast, they verified that my plan has an up speed of 356. We have rebooted multiple times and tried direct connection as well and I'm not getting near 356 upstream. I looked at the modem upstream channels and they're only 4 channels and I also don't have the blue light for upstream as well. Any ideas? TIA.
Channel | Channel ID | Lock Status | US Channel Type | Frequency | Width | Power |
1 | 4 | Locked | SC-QAM Upstream | 18600000 Hz | 6400000 Hz | 37.0 dBmV |
2 | 1 | Locked | SC-QAM Upstream | 37800000 Hz | 6400000 Hz | 40.0 dBmV |
3 | 2 | Locked | SC-QAM Upstream | 31400000 Hz | 6400000 Hz | 39.0 dBmV |
4 | 3 | Locked | SC-QAM Upstream | 25000000 Hz | 6400000 Hz | 38.0 dBmV |

You're getting what you pay for and more. They advertise 35 up. They deliberately do a 20% speed over-provision.

I don't get why they would say 356 then? I asked the sales person first when making the upgrade purchase and then while on the phone with the tech support, he confirmed the same thing. Isn't the modem capable of 8 upstream channels?

I really hate this kool-aid they're drinking. My expectations were so high as I was hoping to get 356 😠
