SB8 / Wireless Bridge

My Xfinity SB8 functions as a home wifi and tv router.    I have an outbuilding about 100' away, and want to use a wireless point to point bridge.   So I would like to use one ethernet port on the SB8 to connect the Access Point.   1) do you have any recommendations on a product model.....or at a list of specs on the SB8 so I could be sure to get a compatible product.  2) do I need to use a specific ethernet port on the SB8?  3) do I need to configure anything in the Xfinity SB8 app to be able to do this, or is the configuration all in the point to point bridge software?

PhoneJack Thanks for reaching out with your question. I'm a little confused on what your are trying to do as you stated wireless bridge, then mentioned Ethernet connection. If you are trying to extend the WiFi itself wirelessly I would recommend an Xfi Pod, but a 100' connection likely would have issues and not work given the distance. If you are trying to connect an Ethernet cord to run to the building, and use a Switch there with Ethernet ports you could do that no problem, and wouldn't need to change any settings. The connection would be port to port at that point. The XB8 port will always send the service through the Ethernet ports without needing to adjust settings. If I'm still not on the same page please feel free to provide more details.
