Says "your home network is in range", but it is not in range or on available networks
I am trying to connect to the public xfinitywifi. I have entered my user, password, and confirmed with the app my login. It accepts all that, but then says "Connect to your home network" and "You're connected to Xfinity WiFi, but your home network is in range. Connect to this network for a better, more secure connection." But I am miles away from my home network, and it is not showing on the list of available wifi networks. Please help. This is VERY frustrating. This is on a macbook pro

With millions of Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots available across the country, I certainly understand wanting to get successfully connected. We do apologize for any frustration this has caused you thus far, but please know my team is here to help.
For troubleshooting purposes, do you have another device to test this on to see if the networks are available on that device?
