SAMSUNG TV FAILING TO CONNECT TO XFINITY WI-FI OR WIRED

This post is from another customer but I have the same issue 

I just bought this TV, and up until now, everything was fine. The first time this happened, my TV could connect to the local network but not to the internet, so I had access to nothing. The issue resolved itself after days of sitting idle. Now, the TV will not connect to the local network or the internet, and I don't understand what is happening. I firmly believe it's something with Xfinity and not the TV itself. Please help me resolve this issue.
