S33 Surfboard 2nd Port

I simply want the 2nd port on my S33 hot and do not want to jump through hoops to get this achieved. I know it is possible. I do not want to switch to a business account just for another IP address. 

Additionally, I am not receiving the speeds I pay for. How can this be resolved?

They are phasing this feature out so it may no longer be available. Some limited market areas are still doing it. I'm going to escalate this to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. We've seen cases here where they have been able to get this accomplished for customers even when it is not listed in their rate cards, YMMV. There would be a small additional fee. You should get a reply here in your topic. Good luck !

@EG​ thanks EG. Appreciate the response. I am attempting several ways to simply get another IP address. I was instructed to contact Comcast Business and they told me I would have to pay almost 3x what I'm already paying to achieve better upload speeds and reliability. Really not liking this and forcing to shop around. Although I feel I will be told the same thing with another ISP.

@XfinityKrista​ Hi Krista, I just got off the phone with Comcast Business and was informed that I would have to pay 3x what I am already paying. I just need to have a secondary IP address for this modem and I will be happy and satisfied. How can we make this happen?

“Comcast Business” is not a valid ID for Direct Messages here in the residential forum. The customer should probably send to "Xfinity Support" instead.
