Running a Netgear nighthawk CAX30- unable to connect to 957 MHz SNR/MER 0.0 dB
I began having intermittent internet outages and noticed the downstream light flashing on my router. I logged into the amin website and noticed the event log had a ton of Code 21 MDD Timeouts, Event Type Code 1. The downstream channel power levels were normal, but I noticed the downstream OFDM Channels 193, 690 MHz was normal while the 194 channel 957 MhZ power level was way too low and SNR/MER was 0.0. To eliminate all the wiring and splitters, I hooked up the modem to the cable before it enters my home and the Power levels spiked to upper teens, 19 dBmV.... but the downstream light on the router was still flashing and Channel 194, 957 MHz was still dead, 0.0 dB. My router keeps searching for this channel and attempting to lock in on it but cannot and it keeps crashing my connection. XFinity are you able to diagnose this issue, is 957 MHz dead channel?

We've seen this here before, where Comcast places an OFDM channel too high in the frequency range near the end of the plant's bandwidth capability. Some of their cable plants and equipment still only extend out to 850 or 1000 MHz operation. At 957 MHz, it may be too close to the roll off point of the plant's bandwidth capability, which explains the weak power level and low SNR.
You'll need to get the techs involved again to investigate, but this may need to be escalated to their engineering department for correction. Good luck with it.
