Router Trouble

For the last couple of months I've been experiencing frequent internet drops when using zoom for work. It's very frustrating. I did an internet speed test, and that seemed fine, as long as the signal was coming through, but the connection would still intermittently drop for a minute or two, between 5 and 10 times a day. I finally started using an uptime monitor and it reported the following:

"1/26/2026 3:25:33 PM Log Start
Ping Target 1: 8.8.8.8 - Google
Ping Target 2: 4.2.2.2 - Level3

The XB7 router frequently gets hot. I've tried replacing the ethernet cable to the closest computer it's connected to and it didn't fix the problem. I've tried resetting the router, and it didn't fix the problem.  What can be done to fix this problem?
