router red

so i went down a spiral. i went to the admin page long story short to try to see if i can get a lower ping. i ended up switching my WAN connection to ethernet not knowing it would shut off my modem. it started to blink orange and my wifi was off. i hard reset the router and now my router is solid red. 

how do i fix this before a technician can come? and if i need a tecnichian our for all of this just so i have to pay $100. im switching to at&t for my internet.
